The public is encouraged to bring their torn or tattered American flags to the Fountains Plaza, 34824 U.S. 19 North, Palm Harbor, Florida this Veterans Day.

There is a Flag Ceremony at 4 p.m. where these flags will be collected by officials for proper disposal. This ceremony will conclude the festivities of the Fountains Fest, a free community event sponsored by the small businesses of the Fountains Plaza.

The Fountains Fest will take place from 11 – 4 p.m. and is being sponsored by over 30 businesses. Activities include a food court, live bands, acrobatics, a fashion show, and an interactive scavenger hunt with prizes. Representatives from the National Silver Alert will also be present offering free on-site registration into their safety program.
