New Volunteer Orientation Set at Heritage Village
Learn about volunteering with Pinellas County’s Heritage Village at a volunteer orientation on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. This orientation is planned for adults interested in becoming docents/tour guides, historic house caretakers and museum greeters. Other positions are available.
Volunteers will discover what it’s like to spend time in the peaceful enclave of Old Florida surrounded by native pine woods and more than two dozen historical structures that tell the tale of Pinellas County.
Heritage Village’s volunteers provide the community with a greater understanding of local and state history and underscore the importance of preserving it for future generations.
The meeting will be held in the Pinellas Room at Heritage Village. For more information about volunteering or the orientation, call (727) 582-2125.
