Palm Harbor FL Toastmasters Begin the 2013 International Speech Contest Process
Palm Harbor Florida January 23, 2013 - For immediate release. Every year, thousands of Toastmasters compete in the International Speech Contest and Table Topics Contest on a local level. Winners from the local division competition advance to district, semi-final and international levels.
"The international speech competition offers members of the chapter the opportunity to hone their speaking skills, think quickly on their feet, and develop their ability to communicate effectively with their audiences," says Frank Francomano, the Palm Harbor Toastmasters Club 8248 President.
In order to be eligible to compete, contestants must be an active Toastmaster and complete at least six speeches from the Competent Communication manual, the first manual in the Toastmasters program. All speeches must be original and meet a timed expectation of five to seven minutes.
