Pastel Society's Annual Art Exhibit Comes to Stirling Art Studios
The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay will hold its annual art exhibit, "Possibilities in Pastel VII" at the Stirling Art Studios & Gallery, 730 Broadway, Dunedin.
The show will run from Feb. 1 to 27.
Opening reception and awards presentation by nationally known pastel artist Barbara Jaenicke is Friday, Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Each year the Pastel Society of Tampa Bay sponsors an exhibit entitled "Possibilities in Pastel" honoring artist, mentor, and friend Brooke Allison, who has educated both artists and our local community about the beauty and history of pastels at the Stirling Studios and Gallery, a campus of Dunedin Fine Art Center.
The PSTB formed in 2006 to bring local pastelists together to encourage artistic growth through education and sharing. Their informal home is in Pinellas County at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
