Peace Corps Throws Global House Party in Dunedin

On Sunday, Sept. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m., Global House Party is being held in Dunedin to celebrate the mission, vision and accomplishments of the U.S. Peace Corps community.

The party, hosted by former Peace Corps volunteers Rebecca Wellborn and Richard Gillies, is part of a worldwide initiative by the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) to compile a complete database of everyone who has served in the Peace Corps Community.

Sunday’s Global House Party is for anyone who served in the Peace Corps, former staff or anyone interested in Peace Corps service.

There will be informal presentations by Returned Peace Corps Volunteers throughout the event and international music. Barbecue meats and soft drinks will be provided. Guests are asked to bring side dishes and their favorite adult beverage. Guests should dress for the pool and patio, and children are welcome.  RSVP to 727-320-5135 or rebecca@rebeccawellborn.com.
