If you have a new puppy and want to get started out on the right paw, look no further than your local community activity center!  Sign up today for the new Puppy Manners Class and start socializing and training your puppy now. 

The four-week class will be held at The Centre of Palm Harbor at 1500 16^th Street, and will focus on socialization skills, problem prevention/solving, and beginning puppy manners.  Behaviors such as puppy biting, destructive chewing, housetraining, and jumping will be addressed.  Beginning sits, downs, come and drop it will also be taught.  All instruction will take place in a safe, non-threatening environment and will utilize positive, reward-based training techniques. 

Classes are taught by a professional dog trainer and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  The cost is $45 for members; $55 for non-members.  Class size is limited to six puppies who are 8 -16 weeks of age.  Pre-registration and proof of current vaccinations are required.
