Clearwater ― Four Suncoast Hospice physicians have recently earned the hospice and palliative medicine board certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), which is recognized as the gold standard in physician certification. Certified are Dr. Kirksak Poonkasem, Dr. Catherine Covington, Dr. Tahir Hussain and Dr. Ruvan Wickramasinghe.

This certification enhances doctors’ expertise in providing end–of–life care and comfort to Suncoast Hospice patients with advanced illnesses.
