Come out and play, Palm Harbor! Many of our residents don't even realize it, but there's a non-profit organization behind many of the sport complexes and events happening right in your own backyard.
Formerly Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation, CSA Palm Harbor is the entity charged with overseeing recreation programs, leagues, athletics and many events right here in Palm Harbor. CSAPH also features their main recreation facility, The Centre of Palm Harbor, off of Nebraska at 1500 16th Street. The facility features several active program rooms, multipurpose spaces, meeting and banquet space, a full-service kitchen and a dance and exercise studio.
A couple of months ago, I started with CSA Palm Harbor as the new Recreation Program Specialist. Basically, my job is to keep the community involved and let them have FUN and keep in shape. So, I figured I'd throw out a bone here on Palm Harbor Patch to introduce myself and let you know that I'm always here to answer your questions, comments or concerns regarding recreation right here in Palm Harbor!
The Centre of Palm Harbor offers a full range of activities, from dance aerobics to boot camps to Scottish Highland Dance and Musical Theater. We also offer a bunch of programs to keep those little guys active during the days they're off school. Bet you didn't know that!
