From classic cuts to trendy treatments, Palm Harbor Patch suggests five salons and barbershops to help you achieve your ideal style. Who do you trust with your locks?
Winter is almost over, spring is just around the corner, and that means everyone wants to look their best.
One simple way to complete that spring makeover is with a new hairstyle or haircut; luckily there are plenty of places in Palm Harbor to get those old locks shorn and step into spring with a brand new 'do.
Palm Harbor Patch suggests five local shops where you can change your style completely, or just clean up your current look.
1. Palm Harbor Family Barbershop. Any list of barbershops in town has to begin with this landmark location. With 20 years of serving patrons under its belt, the staff at this downtown shop has enough experience to pull off any look you want. Men, women and children are all welcome here, and the homey atmosphere and friendly service will make the visit enjoyable.
2. A Splash of Color Hair Studio. If you thought going organic was confined to cafes and clothing, this Ohio Avenue salon will make you think twice. Splash of Color specializes in using organic products that are less harsh on your hair, and it also offers coloring, extensions, facial waxing and texture treatments. Men and women are welcome, and appointments are appreciated.
3. Privee Sanctuary Salon & Spa. Sometimes a haircut just isn't enough. When you're going for a new look, it can often encompass such indulgences as mani/pedis, brow tinting, facials or lash extensions. Lucky for you, there is a place in Palm Harbor that provides all these services and more. Located on East Lake Road, Privee is a full service salon that allows you to alter more than just your hairstyle.
4. Simple, inexpensive cuts have their place as well, and there is no shortage of such shops in the Palm Harbor area. Fantastic Sams, Great Clips and Supercuts are a few of the well-known franchise salons in town, and there are multiple locations for a couple of these, which makes finding a quick, cheap place to get a trim anywhere in town a real breeze.
5. The Classics Barber Shop. We began with a classic, and we end with a Classic. A trip to this kitschy U.S. 19 shop is sure to bring a smile to your face while the hair is falling off your head. Specializing in men's cuts, Classics is filled with retro memorabilia such as Rat Pack figurines, muscle car wallpaper and all sorts of knickknacks and mementos that will keep you occupied before and after you step into the barber's chair.
