Crews Resume Work on Pinellas Trail Jan. 2

Construction workers are resurfacing a stretch of the trail from Michigan Blvd. in Dunedin to Oceanview Ave. in Palm Harbor, which is north of Alderman Rd.

If you plan on exercising on the Pinellas Trail this week, you won't have to worry about construction workers getting in your way. The workers began resurfacing the trail earlier this month and will not be working over the holidays.

Construction workers will be back on the job Wednesday, Jan. 2, according to Pinellas County's Dept. of Public Works.

The crews are resurfacing a stretch of the trail from Michigan Blvd. in Dunedin to Oceanview Ave. in Palm Harbor, which is north of Alderman Rd.

The project is expected to be completed March, 1. If you plan on using the trail after Jan. 2, keep an eye out for construction warning signs.
