We've heard from many of you who want to help little Ireland Nugent, the 2-year-old Palm Harbor girl who was accidentally run over by a riding lawn mower Wednesday evening. Here's how you can help.

It's no secret that people in Palm Harbor are generous and caring.

We've heard from many of you who want to help little Ireland Nugent, the 2-year-old Palm Harbor girl who was accidentally run over by a riding lawn mower Wednesday evening. Sadly, Ireland's feet were severed at her ankles and she will require additional surgery and will need to use prosthetics the rest of her life.

"Of all the children in the world, it will not stop my daughter," said Ireland's mother Nicole Nugent during a news conference outside of Tampa General Hospital Thursday.

"We can fix her legs and she will walk again and run again and be just as spunky as she was," she added.

A local charity group called 50legs.org says it will provide Ireland with prosthetics. Other groups have started fundraising and organizing ways to help Ireland and her family, which includes six siblings.
