Lindsey Norton Falls Short on 'America's Got Talent'

The East Lake High School student was eliminated from the NBC competition show on Wednesday night.

Lindsey Norton's run is over.

The local teenager was eliminated Wednesday night on "America's Got Talent," the NBC competition show where performers vie for a shot at a million dollars. Norton fell short in the voting, failing to finish among the top four acts who moved on.

"It was so amazing," the East Lake High School senior-to-be told host Nick Cannon when he asked about her time on the show. "It couldn't have been any better."

Norton remained positive on her Twitter account, tweeting: "My experience on AGT was so amazing <3 I still have my Lindsey Norton smile :) thank you so much to everyone who has supported me <3"

Norton is an acrobatic dancer who recently won the Dance category in Walker's Rising Stars scholarship competition.
