Local Firefighter Named Pinellas Firefighter-Paramedic of the Year

Palm Harbor Firefighter/Paramedic Dustin Seabolt was recently honored as the 2012 Pinellas County Firefighter of the Year.

Seabolt received the award at Pinellas County Commissioner John Morroni's 18th Annual Appreciation Luncheon for Emergency Personnel on Jan. 25.

Seabolt's quick reaction and heroic efforts helped save a woman who was trapped inside her burning Palm Harbor condo in August of 2012.

Seabolt also saved a young boy from drowning in rapidly moving flood waters when Tropical Storm Debby moved through Palm Harbor in June of 2012.

Seabolt was previously honored with Palm Harbor Fire Rescue's Firefighter of the Year award and the Medal of Gallantry.
