All week long, Palm Harbor Patch is featuring the orangutans at Suncoast Primate Sanctuary in honor of Orangutan Caring Week. Today, meet Ruby! 

Ruby was born on April 30, 1989 and is one of the approximately 116 female orangutans in captivity in the United States. She lives with her mom, Jewel, and her younger sister, Julie, at the sanctuary, and they enjoy playing together.

Come meet Ruby during Orangutan Caring Week, Nov. 11-17, at Suncoast Primate Sanctuary and learn about the plight of orangutans and their rainforest habitat.
