When agents searched his home, they found a loaded silver .28 revolver, along with all of the other items he would wear during the crimes, and money wrapped in bank bands. An additional $6,762 was found in Dwinell's home office.

Dwinell reportedly told authorities he robbed the banks because his house was in foreclosure and he owed money to the IRS. He faces a maximum life sentence in federal prison.
