A Palm Harbor Patch reader snapped these photos of a freak accident early Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of Emily's Family Restaurant on Alternate 19.

The reader says a white van that had a wheelchair and platform attached to the back of it was trying to back up and hit a black Kia sedan. The impact of the crash caused the Kia to lurch forward onto the top of a Mitsubishi sports coupe.

No one was injured in the accident, according to the reader.

We requested information about the accident from the Florida Highway Patrol. As soon as we get more information, we'll pass it along to you.

One could only imagine how something like this could happen. Jason - I think most people would agree...until they visited Florida!
