CERT basic training follows FEMA guidelines and includes "get a plan", preparedness, light search & rescue, medical (treat the 3 killers), triage, treatment, light fire suppression, lift and carry, extrication (cribbing) emergency communications, disaster psychology, new animal/pet modules and ongoing training/exercises.

Learn how to do the greatest good for the greatest number by knowing how to organize, follow the ICS (Incident Command System) make informed decisions with saftey in mind, follow the buddy system and learn the proper procedure to avoid endangering yourself, your buddy/team or possible victims.
