Bed Bug Zapper and More at New DIY Pest Control Store

Are ants, roaches, spiders, bed bugs and other household pests driving you buggy?

Palm Harbor residents have a new option when it comes to getting rid of unwanted pests. St. Petersburg-based Geiger's Pest Services recently opened a unique satellite location in Palm Harbor. 

Geiger's House of Bugs is located in the East Lake Woodlands Shopping Center. The store features a wide variety of do-it-yourself pest control products that customers can purchase to take home and use to get rid of bugs themselves, instead of hiring an exterminator.

"We try to keep things as simple as possible," said Geiger's House of Bugs Manager Rob Gray.

Gray is a Florida-licensed Pest Control Certified Operator who has been in the business 25 years. He is very knowledgeable about pests and the various methods available for eradicating them. He can help identify pests and also offer wallet-friendly do-it-yourself treatment suggestions.

"They're coming in pretty much, because they want to economize," Gray said of the customers. "We try to work with their budgets," he added.

Of course, if you're not a do-it-yourself type of person, exterminators with Geiger's Pest Services treat homes throughout Pinellas County, including Palm Harbor.

Geiger's House of Bugs also offers a unique service that Gray says can kill bed bugs that may have hitched a ride in your suitcases during vacations and cruises (see video).
