Food Truck Rally, Street Dance Contest at First Friday

The monthly event — which is turning out to be a hit with families — features food trucks and kid-friendly activities.

Like food and dance? Palm Harbor's First Friday celebration on Sept. 7 will feature a street dance competition. Palm Harbor University High's Key Club will be heading up the dance contest, according to Debbie Thomas, Executive Director of Old Palm Harbor Main. St. (OPHMS), the organization that sponsors First Friday.

"The dance contest is so fun to watch especially when you have people of all ages participating. Even the little 2-year-olds will go out there and try to do the line dances," said Thomas.

She says people of all ages can enter in the dance contest. "No registration is necessary, just get up and dance," Thomas said.
