What We Love About Palm Harbor: A Doggie Bike Ride

Suzy Q, Teddy Bear and Mickey D recently enjoyed the view of Crystal Beach from their trailer. Their owner, Tim O'Hara, had just taken them on a bike ride on the Pinellas Trail.

No doubt, Crystal Beach is one of the hidden gems in Palm Harbor. We recently caught up with Tim O'Hara, of Crystal Beach, who was chillaxin' at the beach with his dogs, Suzy Q, Teddy Bear and Mickey D.

Tim had just returned from pedalling his three canine pals on a trip to Tarpon Springs, via the Pinellas Trail. How fun is that!?

Curious about Tim's wheels? He rides a Catrike, which Tim says is a recumbant bicycle that is handcrafted in Florida and is really comfortable. "It's like an easy chair," he said.

The bike is one of 10 that Tim owns. It is tricked out with a gps, air horn and a Go Pro camera mounted on a handlebar to get action shots of his dogs and bike rides. He says the bike can travel at a quick rate of speed, up to 35 mph without hauling his dogs in the trailer, and 15 mph with the dogs.
