Goodbye, Palm Harbor

Hello Palm Harbor,

My position as local editor is eliminated as part of a re-organization at Patch, effective Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. 

You may continue to share your events, blogs and photos on the site, but no local reporters will be on the ground in Palm Harbor in the foreseeable future.

Most of you may be accustomed to seeing Sunde Farquhar as your editor for Palm Harbor. Likewise, her position was eliminated in August for the same re-organization. 

I know she enjoyed serving the Palm Harbor community and values the relationships she built with all of you. I had big shoes to fill in her absence and I know I didn't come even close to filling them.

I am grateful to those in Palm Harbor who reached out very graciously to welcome me. I regret the circumstances that do not allow me to fill the needs of this fine community.
