Community Update

This place is NOT clean. Definitely not what you would expect for a "medical facility". Staff was friendly and they accomodated my last minute appt. I went to confirm my pregnancy. I have taken 7 home pregnancy tests the past 5 days and all came back positive. They made me go to the bathroom for a urine sample and place it in the window (like any other obgyn). I opened the "window" and there were at least 5 more urine samples from different people!!. At that point I have been there for about 45 minutes and I did not see more than one other couple so I am not sure for how long those samples have been there for. Anyways... I saw the midwife and besides taking my blood pressure she didnt say anything until i asked her what was going on. She said I wasnt pregnant and sent me to take a blood test. They were not able to do it that day as the person that does it was gone for the day so wanted me to come day the next day and the results wouldnt be ready for another 3 days?! WHAT!? the Vet I use for my dogs gives me blood work results faster and its cleaner!. I ended up going that day to a "pregancy center" (which cost me $0.00 and btw, that place was soooo clean!) and to a regular OBGYN the next day. Both confirmed I was 7 weeks pregnant.
I understand sometimes a home test might not be accurate BUT i am expecting for a medical facility to have better resources than what I can get at home. if the HCG hormones are high enough to be detected by a cheap home test how could it be that ONLY this facility couldnt? I am extremely dissapointed specially after paying a copay of $20.00 and now they sent me a bill for $190.00?! what for? taking my blood pressure? gheeezzzzz worst experience ever! I would definitety NOT coming back!
