BOSTON (March 26, 2014) – New York-area residents Robert Kassara, Tony Suozzo, Darrin Mattina, and Royal Monroe will be among 240 amateur golfers who will compete in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C., March 26-30, 2014. The foursomes qualified for the national event by winning their local Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational tournament held on September 3, 2013, at Winged Foot Golf Club, which supported the Association for the Advancement of the Blind & Retarded.

The Liberty Mutual Invitational National Finals is the culmination of a series of more than 70 charity golf tournaments around the country in 2013 hosted by Liberty Mutual and local and national charitable organizations that raised more than $5.6 million for charity.
Liberty Mutual also announces two-time U.S. Open Champion and World Golf Hall of Famer Curtis Strange will serve as the program’s honorary chairman for 2014, and will help present the charitable gifts in Pinehurst. “I am proud and honored to support the Liberty Mutual Invitational, a series that has raised $21.7 million for so many great charities in just four years,” said Strange.
