Shelter animals need our help!

Please join the thousands of Floridians who have signed a petition in support of SB 1534, also known as the Animal Rescue Act.

Lawmakers are about to discuss this bill, and we need to show them how important it is!  If passed, the Animal Rescue Act would require shelters to notify reputable rescue agencies 24 hours before euthanizing a healthy animal.  That way, the rescue group would have time to come in and take possession of the animal.  This would not cost taxpayers any additional money.

Thousands of healthy dogs and cats are killed every year in shelters around the state. Florida can do better!

Here's a link to a petition that already has over 11,000 signatures -- https://www.change.org/petitions/state-sen-joseph-abruzzo-please-pass-florida-s-animal-rescue-act-sb...

Please sign and share with everyone you know!  Innocent animals are counting on you!
