Celebration of Life Service Sunday for Paramedic Christopher "C.J." Jennings

Christopher "C.J" Jennings, 33, of Palm Harbor, was killed in a motorcycle crash on July 8. He was one of the paramedics who helped Palm Harbor toddler Ireland Nugent, when she was accidentally run over by a lawn mower last April.

A celebration of live service for Sunstar paramedic Christopher "C.J" Jennings, 33, of Palm Harbor, will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Innisbrook's Stirling Hall.

Jennings was killed when his motorcycle hit the side of an SUV on July 8 in Clearwater. 

Jennings was one of the paramedics who helped Palm Harbor toddler Ireland Nugent, when she was accidentally run over by a lawn mover in April, according to a Tampa Bay Times report. Jennings and other paramedics were invited to meet Ireland after her release from the hospital.

Sunstar Paramedics is arranging the remembrance service. 

"We're anticipating lot of people showing up," said Rob Smith, Director of Communications for Sunstar. Smith says the service is open to anyone who would like to attend. Jennings' family will attend the service.

Jennings' family is also arranging another memorial service in Georgia, according to the Sunstar Facebook page.
