Palm Harbor Man Accused of Crowbar Threat at Five Guys Restaurant

An arrest affidavit says jealousy prompted Ramy Deon Ramirez Jr., 19, to go to the Five Guys restaurant in East Lake at 11:37 p.m. on June 14, 2013.

A Palm Harbor man is accused of going to his former spouse's workplace and threatening another man with a crowbar.

An arrest affidavit says jealousy prompted Ramy Deon Ramirez Jr., 19, to go to the Five Guys restaurant in East Lake at 11:37 p.m. on June 14, 2013.

Ramirez got out of his vehicle with a 24-inch steel crowbar in his hand and threatened to hit Zachary Clarence Jardin Leclair with the tool. The crowbar was taken away during a physical altercation and Ramirez left the restaurant, according to the affidavit.

Deputies say when they arrived, Leclair was in the parking lot and it appeared as though he had been involved in an altercation. Leclair had a scrape on his hand and his nose was bruised.

Deputies later contacted Ramirez. They had the crowbar and showed it to him, then he admitted to using it in the altercation.
