A Las Vegas man is accused in a vandalism spree that caused widespread damage at Palm Harbor's Innisbrook Golf Spa Resort.
By the time the alleged spree was over, the rear and side windows of 13 vehicles parked in the Innisbrook maintenance yard were smashed, the glass and plexiglass windows at two Innisbrook buildings were smashed and property inside the buildings was damaged as well, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Palm Harbor Patch.
Pinellas County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Ryan William Kay, 20, on Dec. 30, 2012 on one charge of felony burglary of an unoccupied structure and one charge of criminal mischief.
Deputies say Kay went on the vandalism spree around 4:40 a.m., Dec. 30 causing an estimated $1,500 damage inside the buildings and $3,500 damage to the 13 vehicles.
Innisbrook Spokeswoman Ramona Hurley says the vehicles are in the process of being repaired.
Kay may have been under the influence of alcohol, according to the arrest affidavit.
He was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting a $7,000 bond.
