New Soccer Fields Open at ELYSA Sports Complex

The new soccer fields were 10 years in the making, according to Council of North County Neighborhoods President Don Ewing.

Kids in East Lake now have a new place to play soccer. 

The East Lake Youth Sports Association (ELYSA) dedicated its new soccer fields on Saturday, Nov. 17. The new fields are located at the ELYSA complex located at 3555 Old Keystone Rd. in Tarpon Springs.

The ELYSA sports complex was built and is supported through volunteer participation and funding. The complex serves more than 2,000 kids, according to the ELYSA website.

The East Lake Eagles football and cheerleading squads, the East Lake Little League and the East Lake Soccer Club all use the fields at the East Lake Youth Sports Association complex.
