Offers Roll in For Eagles' Artavis Scott

ESPN's Insider says the East Lake High wide receiver might decide to don the Florida Gator's blue and orange post-graduation.

Artavis Scott still has a year to go as a standout player for the East Lake Eagles.

That doesn’t mean, however, that colleges aren’t already knocking on the Tarpon Springs resident’s doors in hopes of getting him to toss a ball for them once he graduates with the class of 2014.

Scott has already received offers from some of the country’s most notable colleges. Auburn, Clemson, Indiana and Georgia have all issued offers, among others, according to ESPN.go.com. The wide receiver remains undecided, but ESPN’s Insider is now saying that Scott might be considering a move just a little closer to home.

The Insider says Scott took a trip to Gainesville over the weekend that may have convinced him to put the University of Florida Gators on the top of his list. For now though, Scott is keeping his options “wide open,” the Insider reports.
