Rock Memorabilia Raffle to Benefit Charity

A pink guitar autographed by members of 70's-80's rock band Boston, and a drum head donated and autographed by members of the Ringo Starr All Starr Band will be raffled off Sept. 30.

Do you like rock memorabilia?

A Palm Harbor group is raising money for the upcoming Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk by raffling off a couple pieces of rock memorabilia.  The "Sole Sistas and Brothas Too" have been participating in the Susan G. Koman walk for the last eight years. This year, they've come up with a unique way to raise money.

On Sept. 30, they'll hold a raffle with two separate rock memorabilia prizes; an autographed pink guitar signed by members of 70's-80's rock band Boston, and a drum head donated and autographed by members of the Ringo Starr All Starr Band (note- Ringo Starr did not autograph this item). The nice folks at Ruth Eckerd Hall helped get the instruments autographed, according to Erica Lynford, Director of The Centre. The drum head and pink guitar were on display at on Aug. 11.
