There has been a lot of buzz about this restaurant that a Tarpon Springs family has opened in the Fountains Shopping Center. I took my family last night and now know why everyone is talking about it. It's a quick casual restaurant so you order at the counter and they deliver your meal to your table. I had their special - Garlic Roasted Shrimp Pasta and a Wedge for $10.99 and while the presentaion wasn't fancy the flavor was incredible and the portion was more than I could eat. My husband reluctantly ordered the smoked salmon (because I wanted to try it) and said that the texture was perfect and the smoked flavor wasn't so owerpowering that you couldn't taste the salmon. He will order again willingly. My daughter ordered a cup of the Buffalo Chicken Mac n' Cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich and ate it all - very rare for her. That's the only reason I let her order a Root Beer Float (actually served in an iced mug) for desert.
We ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu but still only paid just over $30 for our meal, including a draft beer for my husband.
I can hardly wait to go back and try some of the other interesting things on their menu.
I would reccommend everyone to try Ugies!

You may find the review by Lisa Ulgenalp appears that she's just a diner in this establishment. But, I thought her name and the name of the place she was reviewing were very similar and it turns out that Lisa is one of the owners. Deceptive enough to keep me from trying the place.
