@Brenda: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Daughter. I wouldn't pay much attention to the ignorance of this girlfriend's comments above, she is apparently as bad as he is. These types of people have no intellect to tell right from wrong. They are immoral and have no conscience for anything they do. I can't wait to see him go on trial.   more ›

The southbound center lane and median lane along McMullen Booth Road will be closed Tuesday as crews complete work on a concrete transition panel at the railway crossing.
Work to repair a concrete railroad transition panel on one of the heaviest traveled roads in Clearwater is expected to be complete Tuesday. The southbound center lane of McMullen Booth Road near the railway crossing just south of State Road 590 is expected to reopen at 4 p.m. Bolts between the concrete and the wooden railroad ties below keep coming loose on one of the panels. The panel serves as a transition from the railroad tracks to the road. Crews will have to close the center median lane starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday to start preliminary work to repair the panel. Workers will remove the defective components and improve the crossing in time to reopen the road by 4 p.m. More work and lane closures are expected in the future. Southbound…

Crews closed a section of the southbound lanes between Tampa and Curlew roads, so they could repair a water main.
If all goes as planned, Palm Harbor drivers will only have to endure one more day of taking a detour off McMullen Booth Rd. The road will re-open at 4 a.m. Thursday, in time for the morning commute. Late Tuesday afternoon, Pinellas County Utilities crews closed a section of the southbound lanes between Tampa and Curlew roads, so a water main could be repaired. Drivers heading southbound on McMullen Booth Rd. were diverted west onto Tampa Rd, then south on U.S. 19, then east on Curlew Rd, where they could get back onto McMullen Booth Rd. The detours created a slow commute for east and westbound drivers on Tampa Rd. on Tuesday afternoon. Construction crews had to repair a water main that supplies drinking water. The main was 20 feet below …
