Palm Harbor residents have yet another choice when it comes to dining, the Ozona Tavern opens its doors at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
The restaurant will have a comfy, neighborhood pub kind of feel to it and will feature homestyle cooking and craft beers. This is much different than the restaurant that used to be at the location, J.C. Cravers Bar and Grill.
Owners Kelly and Vince LaMattina have been working non-stop to prepare for the opening.
"I feel like I'm on an episode of Restaurant Impossible," said Kelly LaMatinna on Tuesday.
The Ozona Tavern is the second new restaurant to open in Palm Harbor in one week. The Burrito Bus Mexican Cantina and Margarita Bar opened Sunday, July 28 in the Fountains Shopping Center on U.S. 19.
The Ozona Tavern is located at 191 Orange St. North in Ozona.
